The evidence shows that there is a continuing need for affordable homes in North Norfolk. North Walsham West will help to address existing needs, and newly arising need over the next 15 years.
The site will provide approximately 300 affordable homes (15% of the development) with a high proportion of social rented accommodation. They will be delivered pro-rata to the market dwellings and will be ‘pepper-potted’ throughout each development phase in order to foster a mixed community and social cohesion.
